What is it?
It is a benefit related to loans granted until 1998 to building cooperatives for the construction of economical and social houses whose ownership is assigned to the members.
The benefit, regulated by Consolidated Law no. 1165/38, is currently suspended and INPS manages the amortisation of loans to companies or, after splitting, to members.
Who is it aimed at?
It is aimed at building cooperatives and their members.
How does it work?
Loan amortisation instalments to cooperatives and members are paid through the Payment Portal.
By accessing the service, the following administrative procedures can be activated.
Loans to building cooperatives, claim for:
- loan early repayment and simplified mortgage cancellation;
- loan early repayment and mortgage cancellation consent;
- rectification of the authorisation to other members’ take-over;
- reimbursement of excess instalments paid;
- disbursement;
- transmission of supplementary documentation list.
Personal building loans, request for:
- mortgage cancellation;
- communication of death of the member and succession of heirs;
- reimbursement of excess sums paid;
- early repayment.
Failure to pay the instalments results in the charging of default interest from the day following the due date of each instalment.
