What is it?

It is a service for claiming reimbursement of contributions unduly paid.

Who is it aimed at?

This is intended for artisans and traders who paid social security contributions that were not required..

How does it work?

Contributions paid in excess or in the absence of the legal requirements to the Artisans' and traders' social security schemes may be reimbursed on request.

In the event that the payment is made fraudulently, the sum shall not be refunded.

Within the Social Security Box for Artisans and Traders the insured person can:

  •  claim reimbursement;
  • indicate the debt to be offset against the excess contributions paid.

Claim

WHEN CAN I CLAIM?

The claim can be submitted at any time, subject to the 10-year limitation period.

The institute communicates the outcome of the claim.

HOW CAN I CLAIM?

The claim must be submitted online using the dedicated service.

By accessing the social security box with your credentials, you must select the item ‘Claim for reimbursement of unduly paid contributions'.

Processing times

The ordinary deadline for issuing the measures is set at 30 days under Law no. 241/1990. In some cases the law may set different deadlines.

The table shows the deadlines exceeding thirty days, set by the Institute with a Regulation.

In addition to the terms for the issuance of the decision, the table also indicates the relevant manager.
