What is it?

This service allows the beneficiaries of the PSMSAD Fund, who meet the requirements, to submit a claim for several benefits. .

 

Who is it aimed at?

To the beneficiaries of the PSMSAD Fund:

  • with a seniority of at least six months (except in the case of "first work");
  • whose annual contributions have been regularly paid;
  • who meet the other requirements set out in the Regulation.

How does it work?

The activities of the Fund are governed by the new PSMSAD Fund Regulation, adopted by Presidential Decision No. 151 of 20 November 2015 (pdf 647KB), subsequently amended by Presidential Decision No. 12 of 19 January 2016 (pdf 650KB).

CLAIM FOR BONUSES/CONTRIBUTIONS/PROVISIONS

Beneficiaries can submit a claim for:

  • contribution to, and/or sponsorship of, events;
  • bonuses for industriousness or encouragement and financial provisions;
  • contribution to promote interdisciplinary artistic events;
  • contribution to, and/or sponsorship of, the realization of editorial activities.

The Fund has also instituted an annual PSMSAD Literary Prize to be awarded to unpublished texts in Italian, especially dedicated to adults, who are:

  • Italian citizens
  • EU citizens

The claims to request a contribution to, and/or sponsorship of, events, the realization of editorial activities or the promotion of interdisciplinary artistic events, shall be submitted every year:

  • from 1 to 31 March, for initiatives due between 1 July and 30 September of the same year;
  • from 1 to 30 June, for initiatives due between 1 October and 31 December of the same year;
  • from 1 to 30 September, for initiatives due between 1 January and 31 March of the following year;
  • from 1 to 31 December, for initiatives due between 1 April and 30 June of the following year.

Where the initiatives overlap over several periods (for example, from 28 June to 6 July), the claim shall be submitted within the deadline of the period in which the initiative start date falls (in the mentioned example, it shall be submitted by 31 December).

Claims for bonuses for industriousness or encouragement and financial provisions shall be submitted each year by the indicated deadlines (Articles 18 and 28 of the Regulation):

  • from 1 to 31 March;
  • from 1 to 30 June;
  • from 1 to 30 September;
  • from 1 to 31 December.

The claim shall be submitted online filling out the form "Claim for grants from the PSMSAD Fund" and sending the requested documentation:

  • by Certified Electronic Mail (CEM), to: ;
  • by a letter sent by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt to the following address:

DOCUMENTATION TO BE ATTACHED

For a contribution to, and/or sponsorship of, events, the realization of editorial activities or the promotion of interdisciplinary artistic events, the following shall be attached:

  • analytical description of the initiative and its artistic value, with an indication of any intervention by other public or private institutions, and including a draft or copy of the brochure and the curriculum vitae signed;
  • analytical detail of the costs for which the Institute's assistance is sought, including at least three price quotations printed on a sheet of letterhead (dated and signed by the legal representative of the company or by the owner of the individual company that provides it), for grants of up to 20,000 euros, including VAT, and at least five price quotations for grants exceeding 20,000 euros, including VAT;
  • attestation of marriage or kinship/affinity, within the third degree, of the beneficiary with the members of the Technical Commissions.

For industriousness or encouragement bonuses and contributions to the expenses of study or training trips, the following shall be attached:

  • reasoned claim with documentation on the professional activity carried out in the last five years or on the courses of study;
  • certificates obtained during stays abroad and the curriculum vitae signed.

For financial provisions, the following shall be attached:

  • reasoned claim with adequate documentation proving the occurrence of especially serious events that interfere with work activities;
  • the curriculum vitae signed.

The grants shall not exceed:

  • Euro 1,800 for encouragement bonuses;
  • Euro 2,580 for industriousness bonuses;
  • Euro 2,580 for contributions to expenses for study and training trips;
  • Euro 2,580 for financial provisions.

COMMISSIONS IN CHARGE

The claims for grants are subject to the technical opinion of the Commissions, appointed by a resolution of the Board of Directors.

Processing times of the decision

The deadline to define the decision was set at 30 days by the Regulation for the definition of the terms to conclude the administrative proceedings adopted by INPS pursuant to Article 2 of Law no. 241/1990.

The table (pdf 205KB) attached to the Regulation shows both the deadlines for defining the decisions established by the Institute that are longer than the normal 30-day period, and the indication of the relative manager.
