What is it?

The Summer Camp is a summer event organised by the INPS with a special tender, that provides residential training courses, intended for those registered with the Teachers and School Managers Scheme and aimed at professional qualification.

Who is it aimed at?

Teachers and school officials with the role of director of education, on a permanent contract, in state primary schools and nursery schools may participate in the Summer Camps.

How does it work?

The courses last five consecutive days and run during July and August, for six hours a day, including:

  • food;
  • accommodation;
  • cultural and recreational events.

The minimum number of participants for each course is 15 people, and the maximum is 50.

If the number of tender participants exceeds the number of places available, a ranking will be drawn up at the end of a selective test.

Claim

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be admitted to the tender, the claimant must:

  • be in service on a permanent contract;
  • be registered with the Teachers and School Managers Scheme;
  • belong to one of the following categories:
    • school officials with the role of director of education; 
    • nursery school teacher;
    • primary school teacher.

WHEN CAN I CLAIM?

Only after the tender notice has been published.

HOW CAN I CLAIM?

The claim must be submitted exclusively online, through the dedicated service on the INPS website that can be accessed through login details, with the methods indicated in the notice.

The claimants, while completing the claim, must:

  • register for the training course for their membership category;
  • indicate the order of preference of the training courses.

The choices made are processed by the information system that:

  • automatically activates the courses that register the highest number of first choices;
  • automatically enrols the candidate in the second- or third-choice course and so on.

If none of the selected courses are initiated, the candidate will be excluded from the initiative.

Processing times of the decision

The deadline to define the decision was set at 30 days by the Regulation for the definition of the terms to conclude the administrative proceedings adopted by INPS pursuant to Article 2 of Law no. 241/1990.

The table attached to the Regulation shows both the deadlines for defining the decisions established by the Institute that are longer than the normal 30-day period, and the indication of the relative manager.
