How do I send and monitor requests to the Institute regarding INPS rules, services, and procedures?

Publication: 3 April 2019 Latest update: 16 May 2023

What is it?

It is an online service that allows users:

  • to submit to the Institute claims for information on services and procedures and clarifications on regulations;
  • to monitor the status of the claims;
  • to verify the status of the claims accepted by the Contact Centre operators, and dispatched to the competent local offices (INPS Line).

Who is it aimed at?

This service is aimed at all users.

How does it work?

INPS Responds can be used as an alternative to the Contact Centre.

When operators cannot process the user's claim, they generate an INPS Line query and forward it to the relevant structure.

By accessing the service with their login details, users can:

  • with the search functions, look at the list and status of claims sent, and awaiting reply, through the Contact Centre operators to the INPS offices;
  • press for an answer to a query on the INPS Line, if they have not received a reply within 15 days.

Responses will be sent by email to the address stated in the query entry template. It is advised to also give a telephone number for any clarifications relating to the query made.

All claimed documents or certificates will be sent by priority mail.

INPS Responds is also available for mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) with IOS and Android operating systems.
