What is it?
The service "Generation of QR-code to certify status - Civilian invalidity" is an application whose function is to generate a QR-code (Quick Response code) that:
- contains information on the claimant’s civilian invalidity;
- allows them to certify their status without having to carry with them or produce the last report received.
A QR-Code is a particular matrix code, nowadays very widespread, able to store information that can be read and interpreted by “mobile” devices (smartphones, tablets).
Together with their tax identification code, the QR-Code allows the holder to certify their civilian invalidity status and thus access the subsidies and any benefits reserved for impaired persons (discounts, exemptions, preferential access, assistance services), without having to submit the entire report.
Who is it aimed at?
The service is aimed at all persons for whom there is a definitive health judgment in the INPS archives of civilian invalidity.

How does it work?
The service automatically generates the code in real time, directly in PDF format.
The QR-code can then be printed, sent, saved on one’s own computer or mobile device and retrieved at any time to be displayed along with the personal tax identification code.
First-Level Outcome
Service managers, for whom invalidity certification is necessary for the purpose of granting subsidies, can read the code through any QR-Code reader and, by entering the citizen's tax identification code, check the status of:
- civilian invalidity.
- civilian blindness;
- deafness;
- disability or handicap.

Second-Level Outcome
It is also possible to obtain a more in-depth outcome for granting certain types of subsidies that require knowing the health judgment and the degree of civilian invalidity of the interested party with the percentage.
In this case, the service manager, after scanning the QR-Code, must:
- authenticate themselves with their credentials;
- enter the OTP code that the system will automatically generate and send to the mobile number indicated by the interested party to INPS in their personal data.
