Publication: 3 April 2017 Latest update: 11 March 2026
What is it?
Each year, three competitions for climate-thermal stays at the Case del Maestro owned by the Institute are noticed by INPS.
Who is it aimed at?
Participation in tenders is aimed at:
- to members of the Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme, in service or retired:
- teachers in permanent posts at state infant and primary schools;
- headteachers formerly in the role of educational directors;
- current directors of general and administrative services appointed under law no. 1213/1967 and subject to ENAM deductions;
- Catholic religion teachers employed in infant and primary schools and subject to ENAM deductions;
- to their spouses, civil partners or cohabitants pursuant to Law no. 76 of 20 May 2016, and cohabiting family members included in the holder’s family status certificate and ISEE certificate;
- to widows, former civil partners or former cohabitants pursuant to Law no. 76 of 20 May 2016 of the deceased member, who have not entered into a new marriage, civil union or cohabitation as at the application deadline, and to the deceased member’s minor orphans.
How does it work?
START DATE AND DURATION
The start, duration and destinations of the stays are indicated in the tenders notices, which can be consulted in the Welfare, Assistance and Mutuality (in italian) section.
WHAT AM I ENTITLED TO?
The stays are financed by the Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme, through the monthly contribution of 0.80% of the gross salary paid by the members and provide full board and ancillary services.
In the “stay information sheets”, published in the catalogue of opportunities available in the section dedicated to the competition announcement, the following are described:
- the characteristics of the stays;
- the services provided;
- the schedule of the stay periods.
WITHDRAWAL OF BENEFIT
Failure to indicate, within the terms and conditions communicated by INPS, at least one structure of preference, will cause the waiver and exclusion from the award of the stay and from any ‘repechage’ arrangement.
In the event of non-payment of the contribution envisaged for the stay, within the deadlines communicated by INPS after the publication of the ranking, the reservation will be cancelled.
Participants not included in the claim will not be eligible for the stay.
If, during the assessment of the application, the system does not detect a valid Single Substitute Declaration (DSU) submitted by the date the application was filed:
- the application will be placed at the bottom of the ranking list;
- the per capita contribution towards the participation fee will be equal to the amount set out in the final income band of the table included in the competition announcement.
In this case, any disability status, whether relating to the beneficiary or to other members of the household, will not be taken into account. Only the beneficiary will be admitted to the stay.
Claim
REQUIREMENTS
The competitions shall indicate, on a case-by-case basis, the requirements and criteria for determining the participation ranking.
All guests shall participate in the expenses with a contribution that varies according to the claimant's ISEE and the number of participants. The sum due must be paid in a manner that will be made known in the MyINPS area, in the event of assignment of the benefit.
WHEN CAN I CLAIM?
The claim must be submitted by the claimant within the deadlines laid down in the announcement.
The application must be submitted within the time limits laid down in the competition announcement.
When filling out the application, the applicant must enter up to five preferred facilities.
Once the application has been submitted, it is advisable to view it to verify:
- the accuracy of the data entered;
- that the application is no longer in “draft” status and has been successfully submitted, with a protocol number issued.
Please note:
- once submitted and assigned a protocol number, the application cannot be amended; in the event of an error, a new application must be submitted within the deadline set out in the competition announcement;
- the applicant must also access their reserved area no later than seven days after the application deadline to check the outcome and verify the accuracy of the data;
- if the information recorded by the system regarding the holder’s entitlement, disability status or ISEE differs from the applicant’s records, a request for review may be submitted online using the “Edit data for review” function.
After the ranking list has been published and the benefits allocated in accordance with the competition announcement, INPS will notify the successful applicant, in their reserved area, of admission to the facility and of the deadline for payment of the contribution due, including payment instructions.
HOW CAN I CLAIM?
The claim must be submitted to the INPS online by clicking on "Use service" and selecting the "Welfare Benefits Portal" item.
The services offered by INPS can be accessed using one of the alternative authentication systems currently accepted, which are as follows:
- Public Digital Identity System (SPID);

Processing times of the measure
The deadline to define the measure was set at 30 days by the Regulation for the definition of the terms to conclude the administrative proceedings adopted by INPS pursuant to Article 2 of Law no. 241/1990.
The table (in italian) attached to the Regulation shows both the deadlines for defining the measures established by the Institute that are longer than the normal 30-day period, and the indication of the relative manager.
